Like many artists I'm inspired by the world around me. For me, it's friends, family, camping, canoeing, red wine, bubble baths and of course my dog. I love to recreate these inspirations in a painting, often combining fantasy and reality.
I also love the act of painting, the feel of the brush as it drags across the canvas, the layering of colours. I especially love when a piece of my work makes someone smile. Then the process is complete. |
